Visitors can learn a little about tea-making process besides taking some time to sip the fresh brewed tea while enjoying the spectacular views of the plantation.

 

Among some of the most famous plantations are Boh Tea Plantation, Sungai Palas Tea Plantation and also Cameron Valley Tea Plantation. Boh Plantations Sdn Bhd is the foremost tea grower nationwide and comprises four tea gardens namely Boh, Sungei Palas, Fairlie and Bukit Cheeding. Three out of four tea gardens are located in Cameron Highlands - Boh, Sungei Palas and Fairlie.

 

The company is also one of the largest tea producers as it produces about 4 million kilograms of tea per year. On the other hand, Sungai Palas Tea Estate which is also a subsidiary of Boh is also a must visit destination as it offers an introduction or basis to Malaysian teas under a picturesque setting.

Since strawberry farms can be found almost everywhere along Brinchang town, visitors should check out some of the most popular farms in the highlands including Big Red Strawberry Farm, Healthy Strawberry Farm, Kasimani’s Strawberry Farm, Raju’s Hill Strawberry Farm and also KHM Strawberry Farm. Visitors can also purchase strawberry derived products such as cordial juice, jams, tarts and scones from the shops in the farms.
